There is a site I enjoy visiting, it’s my brothers Shimmerday page.   No advertising, no words…just a photo or two of something that might capture his eye, while walking a dog or to the store.

Once a day,  I’ll take a break to see what was posted for the day.  It’s like meditation, clearing the mind, taking a breath from plugging away at numbers all day.  A colorful flower, light at the end of a hallway, an animal that seems to be smiling what might be running through your head for the weekend.

It’s Ziggy’s birthday.  Last weekend, he waited patiently for a friend to leave so he could scarf down the meal.  It didn’t happen.

Later he took over the person’s chair who graciously gave it to him due to how comfortable he looked.

Ziggy turns 14 today.  Other then a cough and steroids, he’s MAHVALOUS!!!!

We camped this past weekend,  probably our last camping trip for the year. October is a beautiful month, the trees dot the mountainside  yellow, orange and reds.  Pumpkin patches and surprise apple orchards pop up  as we drive through neighboring towns to enjoy the crisp mornings and unusual warm days on the weekends.   The evenings are beautiful, the smell of a campfire and a million stars dot the sky.

I love the month of October.
